Michele Grognardi born in the North of Italy, is a self-made and self taught Artist.

Since a very early age he loved to paint and draw.

In the mid 80’s he started his career as a Tattoo artist and became a self-made master of Tattoo art.

In the early 90’s he attended private teachings with a master for 2 years where he developed further techniques in watercolor, oil on canvas and other mediums.

Since then his art has evolved and was influenced and inspired by Traditional Tribal and indigenous Art & Patterns.

His love for sculpting was a progression from the 2D of the Tattoo patterns to the 3D of the sculptures.

Since 2017 he has attended a sculpting atelier workshop/school receiving guidance and professional advise from a sculptor and teacher Barbara Kletter. Here is where he has managed to refine and mastered his skills and techniques using; wood, stone and other media.
